We realize the importance of keeping all of your personal data secure from hackers and identity thieves. That's why we have implemented numerous layers of security within the Calendar app platform. Here is a guide that shows you what else you can do within our security settings to ensure your calendar and all the information in your account are secure.
Open up your Calendar app and sign-in. Then, go to the Settings menu located where your account information and name are found in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Your next step is to select "Security" from the next screen that pops up.
First, you can change your password on a regular basis. Second, you can enable two-factor authentication, which increases the security on your account.
When you select "Enable" from the two-factor authentication choice on the menu, a pop-up screen appears with additional instructions.
Here, you will be asked to enter your phone number so we can send you a verification code. Once you click "Send Verification Code," a new screen will appear that asks you to enter that code or to request another code you haven't received it.
Two-step authentication will stay enabled until you go back into security settings and disable it.
